No Microsoft is not selling Win 95 for $100, only a upgrade is sold at that price. You also can't install that on your next machine either. It's a scam.

As to your absurd notion that government is totally useless, well where was the bright and innovative Microsoft and the Internet? Let see the Internet who original design was to deliver data and communications even in a nuclear war. Clinton/Gire have done more to promote the INternet than Gates, who 5 years ago didn't have a care or bother about it. They had to get a license from Spyglass to enter the market. So Microsoft license it from Spyglass and gave it away!! No royalties for poor old Spyglass........

Intel has competition and the price of processors are falling fast. Non-OPEC countries open up exploration and force OPEC's hand. Just maybe Apple will yet provide open competition with it's next OS, when it will work across all platforms and with any software. Then we will see real cheap prices for computing.
