DMCL, if there were a psychological profile of a "typical" SI thread, this thread would be considered "normal". In other words, someone always seems to come along that -- for whatever reason -- rubs people the wrong way thus instigating a small feud that escalates into a thread war. Then someone gets the bright idea to urge people to "ignore" so and so and things go OK until someone decides they can't take it anymore and things flare up again. Then a bunch of people say they're sick of it and they're out of here, but, of course, things do eventually settle down and they return.

So, that being said, just hang in there. Also, no need to respond to this message -- by anyone -- as if you agree, fine, and if you don't, just ignore it because I don't want any more off topic banter on my account (and that includes any more stuff from me (gg)).
