Duane:

Actually, that darn partridge (i.e. oil producers and drillers) turned out to be a turkey and right around Thanksgiving brought the whole tree (i.e. portfolio) crashing down!!<bg> Heartfelt thanks to El Nino, SEA, OPEC, Saddam and the boys etc., etc...figured a bet or two on flights of fancy can't underperform that sector...for now.

I've been in and out of LSI for the past ten months or so and have been fortunate enough to catch the meaty parts of the swings. I intend to top up my LSI holdings on dips and be fully invested by the end of the summer. By then, I feel that the SEA situation will have lost its popular press cache as universal scapegoat with nuthin' but blue sky ahead!!!...except the fallout from Zippergate, Greenspan and the Fed still worrying about the tight labour picture and hence inflation, Saddam misbehaving, Yeltsin's infernal vodka-induced flu...heck, better to stick the cash in the mattress<vbg> naturally, all IMHO.

In the unlikely event that I can actually make a meaningful contribution on the DPMI thread, I will certainly do that. Given my non-technical background, however, I will largely be trying to get a cyber-education from those of you who understand the significance of the all the developments on the photomask front.

regards,
Wolf
