Dear David: First of all I apologize for my wrong usage of the word moron when I said anyone who tries to use VJ++ 6.0 to do real Java development work is as such. Honestly I did not mean to offend anyone, so please accept my apology. I do have one question though, Why have you been doing Java development if your targeted computing OS is MS Windows? Surely if you are strictly developing applications for MS windows there are much better ways of doing things than Java! Using Java to strictly write Windows applications makes as much sense as learning Hebrew and trying to speak it as an everyday language in Iraq, or Lybia! With Visual J++ 6.0 Microsoft has indeed introduced a new technology that makes it much easier for developers to write Windows based applications. There is no denial in that. However calling this new technology as Java is as unjustified and shameful as someone taking away your name, dignity and integrity and use them to gain recognition and validity for his own actions (whatever they may be)!
