If I recall correctly, it was due to lower tie ratio (increased OEM's hurt the ratio at first, then picks up as users by media for the drive,) delay in Jaz2, Buz delay, component shortages for laptop Zip, asia thingie (which I doubt,) delayed purchases of Jaz due to the intro of Jaz2. In fact one of the things that analysts questioned and voiced their disapointment over was KE refusal to lower the Zip to $99. Zead
