If it was not for Russel 2000 and smal caps setting new highs I would have said for sure that some brokerage house and/or analyst was buying the shares before doing an upgrade and/or coverage initiation. This can very well still be the case of course. But my guess is SPNSF went up because of the overall small caps strong performance.

We are in a continuing bull market and everytime new highs are set (usually lead by big caps) small caps do not participate till we are at the top and ready for a major correction. I do not know if this is going to be the case this time but it sure seems to have been the case for the past 6-7 years. So I think small caps may continue to set new highs (or get very close to their old highs) and then we will have a mini correction before another run for setting new highs.

As how SPNSF will do, it is anyone's guess! If last weeks move was strictly based on small caps going up it will continue to behave in direct relation to small caps performance (watch the Russel 2000 index). On the other hand if we are about to see a major coverage initiation, SPNSF will continue to go up or stay relatively in the high $7's-low to mid $8 regardless of the overall market. Hopefully when the next earnings come out in May, market may finally be ready to truly believe Sapiens is a real growth company!

Anyway, as always just my humble opinion.
