I work for one of the bigger ticket printers in the US. I showed some people the article on the counterfeit detecting device and they were very interested in it. As it stands now, if people want to use counterfeit detectors at the door of their event, we have to run the job with a special type of ink that costs around $700 for 5 pounds. According to the article, we could do away with that outrageously expensive ink by using this detector instead of what we currently have. One of the R&D guys said he is going to call ITKG about it when he gets a chance. It sounds quite promising to me.
