Thanks Paul,
Great questions. I'll do my homework before the show, and let you know what I find out. Something to note is that ALCD was still not listed as attending in the stuff I've seen from the RCR. A PR went out last week from the RCR that featured ALCD as a participant in the conference. Are they finally figuring out that they need to promote the company, or are they attending because it's convenient? (They're based outside Seattle).
As far as the poultry industries assessment of Sanova, this guy is on the ALCD board. I am hoping that he is keeping ALCD on the right track, and opening doors for them.
KENNETH N. MAY, PH.D., 203 McElwee Street, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659 Age 66. Director of the Company since 1995. Retired in August, 1989 as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Holly Farms Foods, Inc., completing 19 years with that company. Previously held positions as Professor of Poultry Science at Mississippi State University and the University of Georgia. Consultant for and director of Hudson Foods, Inc.; technical advisor and consultant to the National Broiler Council on food safety matters. Serves on the Board of Directors of Embrex, Inc. Dr. May has been active in the Poultry Science Association and the National Broiler Council, and has served on various committees for the USDA.
As far as firm orders for product, the RCR reported in December that "Sanova is already being used in one plant and ALCD expects Novus to bring a second and third facility online as paying customers shortly after the holidays (note: each facility is with separate, "very large" multi-facility firm in the poultry industry)."
Thanks again for the posts Paul. I'm glad to see there is some interest for this stock.
