AND THEN, IT WENT POOF!!!

Elliot squeezed the company to four employees, then one, then none. Ellie sold his company's name to a Chinese outfit that needed a public raincoat. Today Thynx (BEPI) lives on as the beard for Pacific Chemical (CPTA), a mainland Chinese chemical factory that makes polyester. What happened to the Weather Channel? What happened to Monarch Notes? They died. What happened to the shareholder equity in BEPI - gone with a puff from the east.

As ol' Casey Stengel used to say, "You can look it up".

So Ellie has gone from rice paddies to Rice's TADDIES. You can guess how this story will end.

THIS IS YOUR LIFE, ELLIE EISENBERG.
