Bill, I think there is still pent up demand for G3s. I know I am waiting for the right one. I want a higher end G3 and I willing to wait for them to drop a notch in price like the midrange machines just did. I'm guessing a lot of savvy buyers were waiting for the midrange machines to drop a notch and are now buying. I'm guessing I'll buy one hopefully in June, probably by the end of summer. I passed on the 8100 because I don't like buying the first iteration of a new chip/board. I bought an 8500 and I'm real glad I did. I think there are a lot of business people who are biding their time like me. If so, summer won't be bad for Apple. Doren
