Albert, you always have the good stuff!! Thanks! Here's a little story for you folks. I was at get together this weekend in Pyng's home town of Vancouver. One of the guys that I knew there is starting his residency in Emerg Medicine at the UofA in Edmonton in a couple of months. Also present were a couple of his friends that are paramedics (who I also know through friends). Guess what they start talking about? Yep, the FAST 1!! They have seen it tested at St. Paul's hospital here in Vancouver. They were very calm in their discussion about it, because that is the type of guys that they are. But I started to ask them questions about it, and what sort of effect they thought it might have on emergency medicine. They all agreed that it had the potential to be a "revolutionary" device!! They agreed that it would be the type of equipment that emergency services would have to have on hand (as it was mentioned in an earlier post), less they lose a life by not having it. Not to exaggerate, but they really felt that it was going to be more than huge, more like industry changing. Not often that you get in on a product like that. They also said that some of the Paramedics own stock! That's gotta be good news! Just think, a couple of FAST 1's on every ambulance in N.America...How many in every emergency ward, plus military use. There is such a massive potential here, it sometimes makes your head spin when you think about it long. Now if Pyng could only manufacture as well as they develop...and get off the VSE!!!!!!This one is a keeper folks. Enjoy the ride, and don't sell too early!!! |
