Also, have you read the book? If you did, you will note that Moore himself never called AMZN a gorilla. Check out pages 22 and 26. If you are going to call AMZN the Gorilla of ecommerce then what about e-trade, DELL, Charles Schwab, FEDEX, CSCO, etc. ALL these companies conduct business via ecommerce right now and yet they do not compete with each other. What software/hardware are these companies using to do ecommerce? NSCP, MSFT, what about Sterling Commerce???
