I think this is horribly flawed reasoning. Study closely the agreements Apple has signed with Compaq, Dell, IBM and Olivetti. The fact that ONE majority share holder dumped Apple stock is not the driving force here (he did the same thing to a greater degree last year). Apple's Inability to meet demand and its recall of the PowerPC laptops, sparked a lack of confidence (as well it should), but most of this plummet was driven by the lemming effect and the stock is already below value. I think it will quickly climb back up to just around $40 then level off. Any other deviations in the value of the stock will be dependent on how it does in the Christmas Market, whether it moves quickly on getting its new clone manufactures up to speed, and whether it ships its OS on time.

NOTE: Apple picked up Market share last year and its software base grew faster than windows.
