Correct me if I'm wrong. Despite the fact that NASDAQ is a market maker system, isn't there quite a bit more accountability demanded of MM's because of the presence of the brokers and other institutional buyers involved -- folks who don't frequent BB stocks. It seems if a MM were to mess around with share prices when an influential brokerage house was involved, that MM would not be long for the game. That's why the MM's here do not like to lose good stocks to the bigger exchanges. They know a good stock when they see (and trade) it. JMO Scott
