Knowledge of evil comes with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit combats its works in all human beings, otherwise they just cave in a grove with it unto destruction, exactly per scripture, and it is all quite easy to understand.
I also was hit upon very hard by every trip the devil has going. A lot of magical, bizarre, crazy situations and people I hardly believe myself looking back on it.
You know what the Green Berets do most of their time after they go through their initial physical training to make the course?
Well, in VN they did little other than study Charlie. Their first motto is "To Fight you Enemy you MUST know him."
Good enough for them, good enough for me.
And now I will tell you my pull to Meta--the person doing most of the talking in many ways reminded me of Peter Zimmels, a gorgeous very small in stature Jewish guy who had actually begged in Thailand with a bowl while he was doing his "Buddist" trip. Saw his passport picture in his little robe. THen a year later, he returned to NY, got back on heroin, and spent time with the Stones whenever they were in America. I believe he also got to England sometimes. There was a conversation there that in it's own very falling short of the mark way, revived Peter and for awhile I wondered if it was him--older, and farther off the path than ever.
Peter was a cosmic blast without compare. That is the reason I was on meta...it was a memory refresher of a very high trip from once upon a time in my wildest dreams.
Your intrusions into it were...tedious.
I hope you can appreciate that. Actually, the person is, I believe, a bored married person who assumes another identiy on the net. But the truth is, he was able to revive the memory of Peter Zimmels--truly a legend of his time, and probably dead now for sure. I always loved Peter with a something you just can't put in words. I could write about his uniqueness for hours, actually. |
