J$ Here I am. Have been wasting far too much time on teh Boink thread, I fear. Yes, it's an....interesting market. I don't know what to make of it. The Clinton mess drags on. Japan starts investigating the MOF (and my own experience of Italy suggests that waht's been turned up in tehse preliminary investigations is probably NOTHING compared to what'll now begin to come to light); and teh government's created an idiotic $10 million fund to prop up the Nikkei until 31 January. Suharto's assumed (even more) dictatorial powers, presumably to protect his own position and that of his family. And yet we sail serenely on... Go figure. As for an ISP in Italy, if you're going to be in the same place for all or most of your stay, I'd suggest that you find a local provider willing to sign you up for a short period. Taht's what I tell people who come here... J
