Jeff- Thanks for the info, and the call for good manners from NyBellboy and taxikid and others. I called public relations for Egghead, and was told that CEO George Orbin "is on a road show in NY and Boston...having one-on-one meetings...will be back at the end of the week". The option strike price is 10 1/2, which explains the dip downward. That should be over after this Friday. I know that negativity appears on lots of these boards, generally propagated by the short sellers. My fear is that it makes others reluctant to share info and opinions.
