Steve,you didn't understand what I was saying.Most of my orders are entered before the stock is even close to my buy point.

If I want to buy at 24 1/8 I know this when the stock is,let's say,25 and dropping.
At the opening it is different because the "price" is already where I want to buy.I usually enter a limit at the ask a few seconds before 9:30.For instance did this with INTC at 75 1/8 when it got whacked two weeks ago.
