Twelve Steps or Crane : The Chinese ideogram for Truth Much speculation surrounds many of the mysteries in the world. It is from such simple speculations that we can marvel at the diversity and complexity of the world. The Chinese language is composed of ideograms, an idealized picture representing a concept. The ideogram for truth is a crane holding her leg over her hatchlings. Recently, Alberta and Montana have co-operated in an effort to raise the numbers of the seriously endangered Whooping Cranes. A plan was devised where eggs would be incubated by placing them in the nests of the very similar Sandhill crane. A distressing thing was discovered when the hatchlings emerged. As fledglings they became easy prey for predators because they had no means to communicate with their foster parents. Apparently, the language of the crane is tied to the genetic pattern. The Chinese knew this when they chose the Crane and explained it two thousand years ago with this image "A crane calling, her young ones hear". Perhaps you would care to share the relevant scripture wherein the process seen above in this world, is encapsulated for easier understanding Dear Father Do I know you ? Do you know me ?
