Don't usually visit here, I am so disgusted with my mining stocks, I generally try to forget I still own them:) The following is from the Natural Contrarian, March 1998 issue:

During my tenure covering and recommending the investment merits of ILP, we have enjoyed three very profitable price runs. I have been bullish on cobalt, the mineral riches of central Africa, and the tenacity of ILP's management for a long time. It is a shame that the company's Kakanda Copper and Cobalt tailings project is located in the Democratic Republic of Congo, formally Zaire. The political stability and the integrity of President Kabila's regime and the state-owned mining interest Gecamines must undergo trmendous restructuring before I will risk anymore investment capital in the DRC. I will reconsider the merits of this stock in January 1999. From The Natural Contrarian, March 1998.

Hope this helps, Regards, Debra
