To all, First of all, I dumped my last set of calls on ATHM.

Second, I never thought I would do something like this - buy a stock for dividends. But I did. I took a moderate position in a company called Valley Resources (VR). VR is A gas utility company based in Rhode Island. It has a yield of 6.3% (recently dividend was hiked.) A tiny market cap of 60 mil.

A serious acquisition candidate - so says one of my professors, who is pretty good at spotting value plays, utilities, and dividend payers, convinced me on this one. I trust his judgment more than I trust my own. -g- After some digging and researching on my own, I thought it is pretty safe bet for this 'crasy' market.
-MMV
