Dear Mark, Probably Yeshuas was the only person to ever accomplish total control for an entire lifetime, but God does expect perfection only a willingness to surrender the desire to Him and allowing Him to overcome through us. Making choices to avoid a situation of temptation is usually helpful and prayer is the biggest weapon against desires. I am as wicked as they come without Yeshuas strength in me, truely He is the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. See I do not believe a Jewish person has to renouce the roots of the faith only to realize they have been set free to serve God without fear of their failures. When I can Create people and redeem them from their errors then I can have an opinion as to how God will judge people, I do know that my heart is desperately wicked and cruel compared to God so I trust His judgements will be just and true, and don't consider myself as a clueless human to decide how He will judge anyone. I think from some of your questions that you think He is condemning allot to hell and the fact is we do not know absolutely who will go to hell, we do know who will go to Heaven. All those that confess with their mouth and believe with their heart that Jesus Christ is Lord have crossed over from death to life. What believe means I am not sure, to me it means trust and obey but others may be different. If God were to appear differently I am sure it would be in His word for He is Truth and will not deceive us, remember He said I am the Way, the TRuth and the Light and no man comes to the Father but by Me, if that me were to be different He would have told us. He even said many will come to you and say He is in the dessert or He is over there, but do not believe it for false Christ and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect-if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time. So if we needed to know of other appearances of Him He would have told us ahead of time. Trust me He carries a side of the yoke that is the heaviest all we have to do is resist and trust Him. Loving equally is giving the truth even if many reject you for it, that is what God does for all of us. Nancy |
