Not good news for mediaprocessors in that this is their best shot. Chromatic trying to reposition their high end for 3D and DVD is kind of nuts in that they will be squeezed out by the graphics guys who are doing an increasingly better job of doing DVD. Do the really want to compete with 30 other graphics guys? Well, maybe not 30 for very long... Intel is around. Philips Trimedia is a joke, Chromatic was late, Samsung's MSP project is history, BOPS ex-IBM Mfast looks pretty uninspired, and we'll just have to see about Equator. My $0.02.
