Pam, thanks for your background info on AMHD. I found some at WalMarts and gave to four other friends who have cats and am amazed with the response so far. In my house (really my bathroom) I have four older cats using one large litter box. I use the scoopables but don't really like any because the perfumes are as bad as the cat odors!. Anyway, I put onehalf the little package into a 10 day old, twice-daily-scooped and well used litter box and before 24 hours were up I had absolutely no odors from the box. I took some and used it in the bottom of waste baskets in my Mother's bathroom as she is partially incontinent...and it worked again! My impression is that this is a great product and I understand that they have a new aresol spray forthcoming for general home use. I know the pet market is much different than the professional rancher or farmer market. However they do have a BARNGUARD product. Why wouldn't it help in a barn? I do agree that a good scrubbing is probably the best in most areas. Anyway, I am tracking AMHD daily.
If the company could have a version of this product for the UI problems in nursing homes and hospitals, with our aging populations, this would be an imimense market. If you get anymore info, please post it. Thanks for your comments! Notrich
