Jane when you write to me you have to be on the alert otherwise you will not make any progress! That is not my point at all. Not at all. Your mind is so full prejudice that when told of a situation involving choices by a child without coercion of any sort immediately you turn it into an issue of child control and child abuse. It is quite telling that your mind naturally gravitated towards homosexual abuse at that. Yet the situation I proposed did not call for it by any stretch. Public showers are an unlikely setting for same sex molestation. You would need to be talking not just about a homosexual but a pervert and masochist to boot. Either that or a complete moron to put himself in a position to be lynched without trial. Your tendentious mind may find this particular category dominant over all others prone as it is to religious moralizing, but my post had nothing to do with the issues you raise. The common thread of your comments is that they entail analysis which fit well a religious framework but which have nothing to do with the reality before you. Religion has in effect allowed you to find a ready made set of rules to shield you from reality. FT talks about this often and well. You should read his posts with care. My post was solely a the choices that I made as a child and the consequences which different choices would probably have had on my life. You see your views on sexuality are unhealthy and make you an instigator of the perversions which you so readily condemn. Naturally perverts will always be around but with lesser frequency if a greater number of them had found healthier outlets for their inclinations. Do you see my point now?
