not off base at all. as far as terminology and IMO
VAR- VALUE ADDED RESELLER would be focused on a veritcal mkt like doctors offices, gas stations, etc etc and other small but vertical business
RESELLER- is the general term that I have heard to describe the large national, and sometimes publically traded computer reseellers that focus on large corp accts (i.e vanstar, entex, ge, microage, compucom, inacom etc etc)
Can CPQ take one segment direct with CTO and not the other??? IF you were a CEO of a reseller (lets say you are Bill Taucher at Vanstar)and based on what you know about CPQs strategy, what would you be thinking about as it relates to ODM ?????????
