How is MOT a great long term investment? I just don't understand why so many people think MOT is a great long term investment. In the past three years S&P 500 has increased more than %25 every year. What has MOT done in the mean time. Ever since I have followed this company it either missed their estimate or had earning warning. What comes to mind when someone says MOT? Cell phones not microprocessors. I have changed my cell phone twice this year and every time I wanted to buy MOT and they still don't offer a GSM phone (Vancouver). what surprises me is that How can the biggest cell phone maker lose market share and innovation to Finland and Sweden. US tech. and management is number one in the world right now. MOT management new and old could have not done a better job in destroying MOT even if they had tried. If the last three years is any indication of the next three years I just don't understand how this would be a great long term buy.
