The fact that we are in the greatest bull market ever, with no immediate end in sight, is proof in itself that something is different. Whether it's the baby boomer effect, computerization, the collapse of communism, the genius of Alan Greenspan or all those things and others combined, something is taking the market into unchartered waters. I'm not saying it will last forever; I'm sure it won't. But to say it's not different this time is to ignore the facts.
