Hmmm,

Bart you appear not to like Edutainment. I happen to disagree with
you on this note as well. Why get into a business where all they
do is smash, kill, rip off heads, etc. Sure it sells...but not to
family conscious parents who take an interest in what their kids
learn!

I happen to be a parent who is quite happy with the prospect of
buying educational titles that run on a computer. If all I wanted
was a video game...I'd buy Nintendo or Sony's Playstation. Instead
I want something that is both fun and educational for my daughter
to pick up. Companies like SW, EA, Broderbund, etc. deliver products
that allow a child to grow using technology. Maybe they still
face a great deal of competition, but that doesn't mean the industry
has no/little value. SW is a niche player. I hope to see that
they become a dominant niche player, but would be happy if they
remained competitive.

You provide a good balance in perspective as to why not to buy a
company that evidently lost a lot of us money in the past. Continue
to offer those critiques, but lets not slam edutainment for what
it provides.

Thanks, Kent.
