Hello Valuespec!

I am surprised that I haven't seen anything written on this thread about the incredibly positive article coming across "The Bloomberg wire" at about 2:30p.m.EST. today.
It reiterated what Maria Bartiromo said last week Thursday about Amgen benefitting so immensly from the government's decision to rebate any one who buys epogen.

As soon as this article hit the wire the stock shot up from $58.50 to $60.00 before settling at around $59.625 at the close today.

The article stated that Amgen spends over $100 Million a year on lobbying efforts to push these type of government rulings and that Amgen will benefit greatly from this decision.

Don't forget when epogen was first anounced, AMGN stock shot to $69 and with 50% of its revenue being generated through the sale of that drug, you can only imagine where this now practically "confirmed" news could take this stock in the very near future.

For those of you who remember, CNBC's Maria Bartiromo mentioned that this government rebate will probably add $10 to the stock over the next few days.

So hold on to your long positions and cover your "shorts".

Good Luck !!

Sincerely,

RBH
