Yes, interest in a big 6 partner was mentioned in the call. Other things mentioned that might be of interest were :

1. Mr. Koo sees gross margins for 1998 in the 22 - 23 % area.

2. Nam Tai still owns 100,000 shares of DWSLF.

3. Nam Tai has an unrealized gain of $ 5.5 million on the land still owned.

4. Mr. Koo was asked how the march quarter was going but i don't think he ever answered the question directly.

5. Mr. Koo was asked about what he plans to do about the under valuation of the stock price, he answered the question but i had a hard time understanding, if anyone else was on the call, maybe they could help me out here.

6. There were over 100 participants on the call and it lasted about 45 minutes. 5 or 6 of the participants asked some questions. The ones that did ask the questions were obviously pleased with the quarter, that is why i think the numbers were better than what they expected.

7. Outstanding shares presently are around 11 million. No one asked about the stock repurchase program.

8. Mr. Koo mentioned some new customers and new products for this year which would help grow revenues, but as for the details, again, i had a hard time understanding him. He said capacity utilization was around 65 %.

If i think of anything else of importance, i will post again.
