Jbay, I have a hard time believing that the VV rating of ABIIB made it jump yesterday (the sister stock ABIIA also jumped). But like you I'm puzzled about the gap. No news I can find.

It is essential that you followup an VV recommendations with some DD on Yahoo or elsewhere. For example, VV will often bounce a stock to the top of their screens after it has jumped on a buy-out offer -- when there is little or no further price appreciation likely.

I too am troubled by the moving stops. I haven't yet figured out quite how to deal with them. Some times I've moved my stop to my regret (extending a loss when the trend has changed) but other times the stop seems to work to keep me in a stock that is only consolidating before returning to an up move.
