JP, Ashton is scout drilling. This only means that they are using small diameter core drill rigs. It would be very silly of ACA to drill and not take a sample of the core for micro-diamond analysis. Finding pipes for the sake of it and not taking a sample while you are there does not make any sense! I would expect that at least a 40kg sample has been taken from each hole. As for your comment that all of ACA's shallow targets have been found.........SAY WHAT? I would like to know how you came to this conclusion. Your theory would have to based (correct me if I'm wrong) on the fact that ACA is using till cover as their main prioritization tool. This is not right! JP, you indicated that you think that ACA are checking other pipes to make sure that they are bulk sampleing the best ones. The only way that ACA could compare pipes is to have a bulk sample done on a pipe so that they may see the correlation between early micro analysis to the end value per ton. (IMPORTANT: carat per ton value can be very misleading and may not be representative of the value of the rock!) It has been hinted at, by Kaiser, that although we have low cpt soo far, these pipes may prove to be as valuable as any pipes found in the NWT.
