While I will certainly comment, I've been wrong so many times you'll really have to judge for yourself.

If I recall correctly, DEC constituted about 20% + or - a few points of Mylex's business. If they lose DEC that would definitely be a big loss and I would expect the stock price to take a signifcant hit.

Al Montross has been making statements ever since HP pulled out that Mylex would win them back. First it was by the end of this past year. Now he's just saying Mylex is still working on it. However, (again if I recall correctly) HP was supposedly one of the OEMs evaluating one of the newer Mylex products. HP, when they were a customer of Mylex, was, I think, was about 25% of Mylex's business.

So there are probably a number of different scenarios here:

1) Mylex could lose DEC.
2) Mylex could lose DEC and get back HP.
3) Myles could keep DEC and get back HP.

I still believe Mylex has some high quality products in the pipeline as their past several news releases have indicated. But is this what OEMs want and if so what volume potential is there.

This investor has decided to hang on for a little longer to see what shakes out.

Anyone else please feel free to comment.

Thanks.
