Nancy and Gregor and all interested, John was called to Heaven in his exact conscious self, whatever state he was in he was there, and he was very cognizant of all around him and wrote about it in exact detail. When he speaks of the thunders speaking, for instance, just like all places in the O.T. they speak of the visit of a real angel they repeat this visit and the word "the angel said" three times. It's like, "Yeah. That's what happened. And angel actually visited me."

John hears thunders SPEAKING, and says three times "what the thunders said" to be very sure it was not mistaken for God's voice sounding like a thunder. He says that the thunders speak, yet we want to interpret that no, John didn't mean that, he meant that he heard the voice of God and what it was like was a big roaring of thunders. No. That's not according to the Word.

So, I like to take the Word very, very seriously. Otherwise it makes no sense when watered down by men, and has no more effect than any other humanist, man made religious doctrine. It is simply a bunch of words.

This makes perfect sense explaining to me why Jesus Christ made absolutely clear to everyone that he WAS NOT the Father on the Throne walking around on earth. He made it perfectly clear that even after death and resurrection HE WAS GOING BACK TO THE FATHER ON THE THRONE. We just don't like that as Christians somehow. We just want to do away with the guy on the throne and scream, Jesus, Jesus. There's just Jesus!!!

That's very sweet, except that it goes against what Jesus said, so therefore it totally upsets me, that's for sure.

When did the Holy Spirit get poured upon human beings? Not when the resurrected Jesus was walking and could have simly touched everyone on the forehead one by one and knocked them purely unconscious with the power of the Holy Spirit blast.

No, it was later. A few days later when they were sad and miserable and praying in a room, hiding from madmen who wanted to kill them.

Your analysis makes perfect sense. If anyone comes and bashes it as Zionist satanic Talmudism, I will react with all of the force God can give me in all directions.

However, if anyone has any good reason via the scripture why anything you said or I agreed with Cannot Be True, then I will listen politely, as I'm sure you will. But they will have to explain in the words of Jesus Himself why He Himself did not mean the things He said, and really meant that later Paul would straighten it all out for us and be the final word on all things, and in so doing would contradict the words of both Father and Son, but that that would be the Perfect Will of God anyway.

I believe that your analysis seems to be exact. There is much, much symbolism in Heaven, all with definite meaning. When an angel mixes the fire from the altar of God with the insence of the prayers of the saints, and hurles the flaming ball to earth--well, it just might happen.

It might be called an "asteroid." Who really knows.
