Ben
I had a good talk last week with CFO Jeff Darby and was very pleased with his comments. They are very confident that they will
have a good year in both hardware and software sales. It appears their new ocr software is better and cheaper than their competitors.
They are not impressed with the software that Caere has created
for HP. It is my opinion that CEO Larry Smart would not turn down
a good offer for VSNR. One of their competitors has worse financial
problems than VSNR. I also wonder how long HP will stay in this
market as they are being hurt by these low selling prices. VSNR is
very interested in improving its sales outlets and if they can close a deal with a large retail chain we should see the stock go up. Much
of recent run up due to large institutions getting back in company.

Regards John
