To compare market cap to employees is not meaningful between different companies like DBS vs MSOs, even though they deliver the same product. DBS companies rely on third parties to sell and (usually) install the equipment, while the MSOs are teeming with people to do customer service and line maintenance. Did you count in how many people/people hours it took to make the satellites and launch rockets? What will count is incremental profits per subscriber after breakeven--how much in earnings per dollar of revenue do or will these companies make considering the high fixed costs. Diamondcutter
