ALPHARETTA, Ga., March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Network Connection, Inc.
(Nasdaq: TNCX) (TNCi), an industry leading developer and manufacturer of video
and multimedia file-server technology today announced FAA Certification of the
AirView(R) fully digital In-Flight Communications / Entertainment system for
the narrow-body MD-81 aircraft.
The size, weight, and power requirements of the AirView system make it
especially suitable for the narrow body market. For example, a 150 passenger
version weighs 1238lbs, requires 6800 watts of power, and the largest system
component is the server which in a standard ARINC configuration measures
30.75"W x 7.79"H x 16.0"D, SCU & DDU.
