Does anyone remember the scenario the last time WTI fell this low in late 1993 - early 1994 ? I assume the cause was overproduction and weak world economies. The base-building took about 2 months and then a rise to the 18 range took around 4 months. Does anyone recall whether the rise was prompted by a production cut by the big boys or simply increased demand from recovering economies ?

TIA,
John
