Tricky yes, but without merit NO. I wish I have follow the pattern of insider selling a couple of months back. Some of the major opportunities like INTC, QCOM, VLSI, LSI, QUAL, ANAD, etc.. all show insider selling activities before their stock hit bottom low. None of these selling transactions are major but they do signal a bleak outlook of future quarters. You are right if we were to see CEO selling over 50% of their holding is a definite sign that the company is going down the drain and just not a short term setback. Of course basing decision on insider selling alone is not enough but when you throw in high valuation and a near term slow down in the telecommunication industry you might have yourself a very good indicator. My two cents opinion of course.
