Chemtrak's Hp Chek for the H pylori bacteria should be ramped up to full production in the 4th quarter. As was stated in the 3rd quarter results, the bulk of the sales were from Cholestrak only. Although I would have liked to see better results for the quarter, I am still not disuaded from holding CMTR. The Hp Chek deal with Astra/Merck alone is enough to justify a much higher stock price. I read just recently that Prilosec/Losec is expected to overtake Zantac in 1997 as the best selling drug in the world. And if sales continue as expected, Prilosec/Losec should end up being the highest selling drug of all time. Patience will be rewarded.
