Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I have to ask - so what? You, like me, bought at or near its highs in sept. and oct when bullshit was running rampant in the streets. I own 6000 shares of this piece of shit and it's really starting to get on my nerves. I called my broker again today and I like him because he's a straight shooter and tells me like it is - good or bad. He said today, "I wish I had good news for you, but cpq is rapidly becoming a plague on wall street. The general consensus is that if EP doesn't get his act together quick he's about to make the preceding management look pretty damn good." What's the damn problem over there, I asked. "We are all perplexed, EP and his gang definitely went insane. They are primarily responsible for the price war; they created the sub $1,000 market (which is a complete joke - a loser market with no profits); they can't seem to get into a bto model for love or money; they ran around in the latter part of 1997 and tried to shove comptures down everyone's throat and to top it off - they bought dec. Good luck, but if you insist on continuing to own it get read to lose more money! Take your lumps and get it over with." |
