Taxi,

Happened upon "Crisis Investing for the '90s" at the library last week. I must say I like it!

The guy is right up my alley, quotes Ayn Rand and blames the government for everything wrong with the U.S. It is refreshing to read other true libertarian. I loved the chapters on ethics, insider trading, and the SEC.

The thing I can't quite make of it is how wrong the guy's timing is/was. In a way it begs the question of whether his premises are fundamentally correct. Though I haven't read his first two books, I think since he was so right in timing on them (this latest book indicates as much, though its possible he is puffing himself), that he got cockey in calling the timing in this one.

I think if asked, his response would be two fold:
1) Republicans in '94
2) It doesn't matter because it has created an even larger disparity that will be even more of a crisis when unwound.

Any thoughts?

P.S. How is webmasterkid coming along? I am not much of an html guy, but I am a software engineer which means I can pick up the stuff pretty quick (should I so desire). If you have any questions ask, if I don't have the answer, I may know someone who does.
