Dear Randall: I understand your grief.Truth hurts! You claim you have followed up on every single bit of information you received from me. It is a blatant untruth. On December 9th I emailed you the first bundle of information. You replied you were not interested in learning about the pending courtcases of two ex-presidents of companies that were enticed by fraudulent manipulations to team up with Baker & Co.You were only interested in the Supra (RICO) case. Fair enough.I emailed you full details(Court Case number cum suis). Nothing happened. Two months later,on Feb 19 (your post #1173) you asked me AGAIN for details. You wrote: "Do we have a case file on the RICO action? I'll call out there if I can get it from you".
I replied in post #1174 that I had sent you this info early December. And mailed the details again. Obviously, you never had pursued this matter.
You will recall my email giving you details of the attorney for the Taiwan Hospital firm,UMSI's pivotal trading partner in the Far East, who was ready to give his point of view. You refused to call Mr. Pan on the ground that he was "not a registered attorney. I will only talk to a registered attorney". I thought, for Pete's sake,it is not an office boy.Pan is a lawyer, and you might have listened to theirside of the story. No harm in that. In fact you might have learned that the three scanners they delivered were boxes with a lot of bolts..... The only action you claim you took was to call Mike Baker"s house when he was at the airport. He never called back. You did not either. I asked you to assist us since, as an attorney and fellow-stockholder you were,I boldly assumed,in an excellent position to guide us in how to make proper legal approaches to UMSI management to get them to fulfill their obligations towards stockholders. You were under no obligation to help us. But claiming that you did follow up on every lead is not being honest. While I would think that honesty is a fine characteristic for an attorney to have.
Therefore, let us now be honest. The fact was that you could and would not believe that the information I was able to collect was true.
You said so yourself in post #466:
".....Nice of you to keep your ear to the ground, but if even half of that is true, why would Select Capital finance them? Facts are facts and rumours are just that. Select Capital knows a lot more about UMSI than we do,and they opened up their wallet. KEEP THE FAITH....."
I believe that if you had verified some of my info, you would have found out in the process that Select management had a few nasty skeletons in their cupboards as well.
I was fortunate in finding Ms.Kris Hundley of the St.Pete's Times to verify matters. Or perhaps you doubt her story as well?
You may keep the faith. Laurens |
