I was wondering what sort of initial cost is needed for Metricom to blow into a big city and set up their infrastructure. Seeing that they may be targeting Southern California, I am interested to see what the cost is and the amount of subscribers needed per region in order to break even. Any thoughts? I am also curious as to how many transmitters are needed per city. One on every streetlight?
