Bill, Great article. This is where Intrinsyc's Rainbow product fits in. Rainbow allows these types of devices to be access with web browsers and the HTTP protocol in general. Looking through the technical details on Rainbow on Intrinsyc's web site you can see that they've added at neat kicker to their web server, the BGI interface. This interface allows devices to send custom information to browsers rather than just plain web pages. Rainbow should be a hot seller for Intrinsyc as far as I can tell. - DaBull
