Ben, I was using similar model successfully for several expirations. The pitfalls are that some times even if the option expire worthless they may still assigns to you the stock.

Last time it happened to me was in December 97, got assigned 1000 shares of a stock at 50 even that the stock closed at 50.

Just curious to see if Friday SUNW will close at 42.5 the open interest points this way.
