Looks like the Justice Dept. will have to decide if Java is a programming language or operating environment . Either ways, it end up confusing people all the more because if Java is considered a language, then every tools vendor has the right to adopt it to their respective frameworks (AFC, WFC, Swing) and if it is considered an operating environment, then what's the DOJ doing siding with a potential competitor of MSFT ! Quixotic times ahead.
