Thanks for the help. Seems a mis-spelling in the help file of stochastics (I cut and paste) resulted in the "(" rejection. Now the scan runs as follows:

Anygroup

Set STOCHASTIC = 13,8

StochasticPctK(0) > StochasticPctD(0)
StochasticPctK(-1) < StochasticPctD(-1)

println Symbol , "," , " Close:", Close(0) , "," , " Vol:", vol(0) , " , " , " PE:", PE , " , " , " QRS:", QRS(0) , "," , description

However, this returns the whole input list (doesn't isolate). I tried taking out "PctK", makes no difference.
