Aaron,

As has been pointed out elsewhere here, you could do a one time translation of the binary. However, this might violate the rights of the software company that produced the original package.

Without the one time scenario, the code would have to be 'translated' every time it was run. (Unles someone has come up with something else that I do not know about - a possibility). If you have to run an emulator, I cannot see enough speed to compete with ever faster times on the hardware.
